LabForest

Living lab university forest for sustainable management of natural regeneration under climate change

Changing environmental conditions and adaptive forest management: impacts on ecology, ecosystem services, and economic resilience

{{brizy_dc_image_alt imageSrc=

The project LabForest uses the opportunities provided by the university forest at LMU Munich as a living lab to compare effects of different management strategies on forestry and wood industry in connection with climate risks. Additionally, the project also assess the impacts of climate risks on biodiversity and key ecosystem services.
