What's it about?

Forest and wood research are represented by various degrees both across Germany in general and within the REGULUS innovation groups. Additionally, spatial distances between research clusters and institutional barriers pose challenges. The exchange among researchers and the integration of expertise, both within and outside the REGULUS community, form the foundational pillars of REGULUS research.

The cross-cutting theme "Networking and interdisciplinarity" specifically addresses how additional value is generated through the scientific discourse across disciplinary boundaries - value that cannot be created through traditional disciplinary research. This includes the development of long-term communication strategies and the design of organizational structures which aim at fostering future exchange between disciplines - even beyond REGULUS.
