Over 130 participants from academia, the field, government ministries, and project sponsors gathered at Gasteig HP8 in Munich on March 18 and 19, 2026, for two intensive days of exchange between research and forestry practice. The day before, a field trip to the LabForest experimental plots offered exciting insights right in the forest. A look back at an extraordinary conference format.
