LabForest
The project LabForest uses the opportunities provided by the university forest at LMU Munich as a living lab to compare effects of different management strategies on forestry and wood industry in connection with climate risks. Additionally, the project also assess the impacts of climate risks on biodiversity and key ecosystem services.
The innovation group LabForest is located in the region of Bavaria.
“LabForest” uses the possibilities of the university forest of the LMU Munich as a real laboratory to compare the forestry and timber industry effects of different management options in connection with the effects of climate risks and to evaluate their effects on biodiversity and important ecosystem services.
