Cross-cutting theme 3

Shared data spaces

What's it about?

Regional innovation groups enable research on similar problem contexts across different regions. The coordination of shared data spaces offers additional explanatory power through the possibility of comparative analysis. Shared data spaces, particularly with regard to living labs or modeling, can, in the best case, facilitate the joint use and further processing of research data within the REGULUS network and beyond.

In this context, questions regarding the collection, storage, and documentation of research data, as well as their accessibility for future use, are relevant for all publicly funded research projects. Additionally, the integration of the currently often isolated data landscapes in forest and wood research is to be improved in the medium term through the cross-cutting theme 'Shared Data Spaces'.
