ADAPT-Wald-Holz
In the research project ADAPT-Wald-Holz (ADAPT-Forest-Wood), a REGULUS innovation group is developing an adaptive forest and wood management system for the region of Brandenburg-Berlin, using Scots pine as a case study. The focus is on a regional value chain that conserves ecosystems and resources - from forest management to wood supply to wood processing. Within the transdisciplinary network InnoForum Wald-Holz, research needs are identified and addressed in collaboration with practitioners, with results shared with the public.
