Conserving diversity: solutions under climate change in the region of the Upper rhine

{{brizy_dc_image_alt imageSrc=

Climate change inevitably leads to changes in forest structures and species composition. The die-off of many trees and the spread of pathogens pose significant challenges to both forestry and society:

How can forest management be designed to ensure that the diverse services of the forest ecosystems are maintained under these changing conditions? This question will be addressed through strategies and concepts developed by the collarborative project WaldlabOR in the climate change hotspot region of the Upper rhine.
